well, the insurance adjuster was here and looked at the car and they totaled it. i was surprised what she got out of it. they gave her three grand for it and thats including what she had to pay to buy it back. im probably just going to find a nice roller and switch everything and do a little more work to it. she'll really be kickin sum ass up at walmart then ;)
So she bought it back and still had 3 grand left over? How much was the buy-back?
yep. they gave her 3300 and she bought it back for a lil less than 300.

i looked under it today and the frame isnt bent that i see. hopefully she can just get a quarter put on, get a new hatch,bumper cover and tailight and go.
Either those pictures are real misleading, or it has to be. I cant see how it could pop the hatch that way, and make the rear part of the quarter that close to the tire and put that wrinkle in it without bending the frame rail down ??? I hope i'm wrong, but it sure looks tweeked to me.

if you decide to fix, i am parting a GT and have the tailights,rear bumper cover and ground effect piece.
flawless hatch is $100, bumper cover is $50 and tail light $25.
she will have the most tied in quarter easy $2000 job from a pro
I let mine go, i didn't care the frame wasnt crooked. although my trunk are was all smooshed in and tires never wore uneven and was straight going down the road. I even picked up a stock rearend with same gears i had for $100 drum to drum.
Did her fuel shutoff switch in the drivers side activate also ?????
Big thanks to pewter for pulling it out and making it un noticed except a few dents in the quarter.
The rear bumper support was all crushed in and the bolts all rusted to take off and i let it go and threw on a new bumper

it didnt activate the fuel shut off. it was an s10 and his bumper must of been high enough to clear the the bumper support. it didnt bend it at all
finally found another stang to replace hers. im picking it up tomorrow in va. let me know what you guys think. i think we got a hell of a deal. as far as mods it has gt40 alum stage three heads with 1.6 svo rockers, e303 cam ,edelbrock performer intake, 75prom mass air, 70mm throttle body, griffin heavt duty radiator, blackmagic low profile dual fan, msd with dyna coil racing wires and more. its fushia pink witch is the color she had picked out for the black one before it got hit. its got a lot of extras on it too, like a solar wing, chrome ponies, black leather,clear head and taillights, cowl hood,saleen wing. heres a couple pics.
