    Wheel adapters

I want to put a set of cobra wheels on my 90 super coupe. The problem is that my bolt pattern is 5x 4.25 (108mm) and most stang wheels are 5x 4.75. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this problem go away?? I have searched many wheel adapter sites and there are no conversions for this ,atleast none that I can find. Any help would be great!

You sure about that? My wheels are 5X4.5 '99 cobra wheels on a fox.

You'll have to doublecheck your backspacing, but the bolt pattern you need is the same as the '93-'98 Lincoln Mark VIIIs. I believe the Mark VIIs were the same as the SN95s pattern. The overall platforms were the same (your 'Bird and the VIII) so the wheels could be identical. Ebay sells these all the time. I have the Chrome Cobra R knockoffs.

Doesn't seem like there are any cheaper solutions.

By installing the adapters, I think you'll seriously limit the selection of wheels to choose from. You'll reduce your backspacing by an inch at least with the adapters.

Unless you already have the wheels, buying a set with the bolt pattern you already have would be the easiest by far.
