    Smile 1966 Mustang 5-lug spindles - FREE!!!

I was cleaning the garage last night and found these hiding under my shelves. They're a pair of 5-lug front drum brake spindles and drums from my '66 Mustang. I converted to a Granada front disc setup when I restored the car years ago. If any of you are converting a 6-cylinder ( 4-lug ) 1964 1/2 thru 1966 Mustang or Falcon or ??? to a V8 and need the stronger 5-lug spindles these would work for you. I have both brake drums, but one is cracked, and I really don't know how useable the other one is. Everything was media blasted and epoxy primered way back when ( circa 1998?? ), but they're somewhat rusty now ( they're not really bad, but definitely not what I'd call pretty ), and would need a good cleaning / blasting and a fresh coat of primer / paint to be used on a restored car.

Anyway, they're free to a good home. If nobody wants them I'll just drop them off at the local scrapyard and buy an ice cream cone with the proceeds.

I live in Moon Twp., about 3 minutes from the old Greater Pgh Airport and Robert Morris University.

    Thanks folks!

Sounds good Lou. I don't head out your way too often ( the Mustangs are pretty much "done" - finally... ), so let me know the next time you will be in my neck of the woods. Just call my cell ( 412-292-2403 ) and I'll give you directions.

Wish I would have seen these. A friend of mine is doing a restoration and he ran out of money. This would have been nice.
