picture sucks, but my bro got it tuesday.
i got one but let my brother tag it. (he's never had one this big before, i have)and also seen one with the ehd disease they are talking about. it had nasty infected growths all under it's chin. first pic is of the 8pt i let my little bro tag, and next two are of a deer with the disease. what it comes from is gnat bites. the become infected and full of nasty stinky puss. thats what i was told anyway.
That disease is bad. Wiped out alot of deer.

and a pair of my gloves when i touched one. i didn't know what the bumps were at first, the sorta looked like burrs stuck on it till i pulled on one and the slimy skin came with it. it smelled so bad i gagged. and threw the gloves away.Originally Posted by wick

yea thats terrible.....but i set up one of those motion detector cameras in my grandparents woods and it got a awesome snapshot of an albino doe....ill post it up as soon as im home from work....

Yea man i would never shoot an albino....i dont even like to shoot doe....but the cool thing is ive seen her running around with a buck that is entirely black....i have no idea wtf his deal is ...lol....but hes jet black....no pics of him yet.

Let me tell you how my monday played out.....I hunt in Kane, PA (^North^)
Sunday: shot my gun made sure it was still good....Put my tree stand deep in the woods (about 15min atv ride).
Monday: At my stand about 6:15am in a monsoon. I only stayed in my uncovered stand for about 3.5 hours then said "F" it cause I already got my 8pt and I didnt see a single thing all morning. Spent the rest of the day in my buddies den watching TV near the fire
Im going this monday for the entire day...One spot in the morning and another one for the late afternoon. Will report with results!!!

Yeah, this had to be the worst opening day I have ever seen. I had to work. Where I work at, we have a ton of deer. I did not see one Monday. Not even the 8 or 9 point that practically lives there. Nothing. I did, however, see a racoon yesterday. We were walking around by our pond at work. Up on the rocke we noticed a face looking at us. Walked over and it was a coon. Cute little critter. No rabies but there was something wrong with him. He was wobbling in his back legs. I walked to about 4 or 5 feet from him to get a closer look. Let him go and just walked away.

No rabies but there was something wrong with him. He was wobbling in his back legs.
Bet it was rabies. If it was daylight, he shouldn't be out. I had to get the shots about 3 years ago, cuz of a coon.
