    My new headers!!!

    We'll I got them yesterday, they are 94-95 Mac 1 3/4 ceramic coated longtubesw/ 3" collector. Now I just need to pick up a Dr. Gas 3" X-pipe, and some straight through 3" mufflers!

    Do you have a part number on those? The only macs I found for 94-95 With 1 3/4 had a 2 1/2 collector.

    Lookin' good brother. Hope they are not too much and they over-scavenge the combustion chamber. It's easy to overshoot the optimum amount of scavenging, especially with a forced induction example with the amount of boost you are employing. This explanation is an over-simplification at best. Many more variables come into play when scavenging is discussed, e.g., cylinder head intake/exhaust runner shape, length, volume, combustion chamber efficiency, camshaft duration/overlap, ect, ect. ect....

    Those look like they are brand new. Are you putting them on yourself?

    Yep....
    Over the winter once I get the rest of the exhaust pieced together.

    they look great , hope they make more power , what did you have now ? i am running 1-5/8 bbk's lt's and was thinking of running 3 inch exhaust .

    I have BBK 1 5/8 lontubes w/ 2 1/2 collectors, which actually neck down to
    2 1/4 at the collector.

    if i could find a deal like that, i would swap out my BBKs.

    isnt there something with the MAC 1 3/4 headers that make them easier to install with the rag joint or something?
