my +pos cable went from battery to fender was only about 12 inches long, would start off and on
well mine is in my trunk.. Did you just replace the line?
yes, there's a good possibility that could be the problem, but that's an expensive line to replace if it's in your trunk and not definetly the prob, if it was under the hood that's a different story $8 part make sure your connections are good
they look to be good.. and good connection.. I wondering what would be cheaper, a starter or that line.
Could be the starter solenoid sticking because of the cold weather. My old LT-1 did the same thing and it would start at random like yours is doing.

it was teh starter... Put the new one on tonight and fired right up every time.. I guess the test will be today when i wake up and try it.
