Thanks for everyone's input. I am leaning towards the heat extractor myself.

HAHAHA I suppose.
Well, it is a cowl hood. Thats where they are supposed to be high at. It does serve a purpose and is functional. I honestly feel HO's hoods fill the mustang lines way better than any other thing out there. They rise quick and hold a nice smooth look all the way back. They have smaller ones too. Get some more people interested and I may take a ride to get them for ya. Your other option would be ABC or Cincinati composits. HAHAHAHAHAH

Looks like I'll be able to keep my strut tower brace.
And finally a profile shot.. This is what it should look like (of course mine will be ALL black)

Just an FYI...... HO Fbertrends will be at the Ford swap in Columbus next weekend. If you order your hood, and pick it up before 12:00 Saturday, its pretty good deal.
I bought a 2 1/2" cowl hood for my Capri, normally $369.00, picked up there for $325.00. I'm going anyway, so the gas is a wash ;)
They are one of the few to make a hood for my car anyway, but theirs is still the best fit and finish of any of them that do. Also BTW, for SVO' guys they make a true SVO hood out of glass as well.

I have Cervini's hoods on all 3 of my stangs. My dad did all the prep work on all of them and said they were next to perfect and didn't require hardly any work. Now if you mention the word "Saleen" to him hill start bitching about all the prep time he had on my stuff. Another nice thing is if you live close to CJ's in Harrisburg, you can pick the stuff up there and save on the cost of shipping

I have a stormin normin i love the way it looks, it came with my car, but i had to put hood pins on everytime i would take off hard it would come unlatched
I know its not one of your choices, but i just bought a twin turbo cowl hood for my '87 gt, and i love it, looks very nice, just posted pics here

I would stay away from the extractor hood simply because you might want to bolt on a supercharger down the road...because it's not a question of IF you will want more power, but rather a question of WHEN..:D
The extractor is the best looking of the 3 choices though...
