2002 Gt

Hi guys I got a buddy looking at a 2002 Gt that was wrecked on the Passenger side of the car. The car is drivable but it needs a fender, Back Bumper and some touch up work on the door and back quarter panel it also has an exhaust leak in it. the guy wants 6500 for it is this a decent price for it and how much would it roughly cost to fix. Also clean title

Here are some pictures also has an exhaust leak when you get on it you hear it in the front end alsmost sounds like tapping. also the ABS light is on and the traction control dosen't work.

looks good. have you checked the VIN? of course id get him down in price some more if it were me.......

He is firm on the price he wanted 8500 for it also what do you think it will cost to get fixed. The ABS light is on and the traction control dosen't work he said that is on because the Traction control dosen't work. If my buddy does'nt buy I might try and scrape up the cash for it.

I agree thats not bad at all! I would imagine you would have about $1500.00 in repairs.

my advice....if its close enough. go take it for a test ride, and go have a body shop estimate done.

He drove it and said it runs good other than an exhaust leak.

I talked to my buddy and he decided not to buy it so I am going to try and get the money. So some of you think decent deal for 6000. killing me not having a stang.

yea its killing me not having one and I like that body style but cant afford the normal price on them. I think if I can get it for 6000 and put 1500 in it still below book value on it. I have been looking at those years and they sell for around 9000.

i know of a 99 GT for 4k. clean title. great shape. its auto with tan interior, black exterior. 99k miles. i want it but trying to be sensible now.

I am going tommorow to pick up the stang if it checks out okay at the garage. Now for the fun part looking for a front fender and doing some body work.
