Looking for a 4" to 5" transition for custom ram air set-up

Anybody previously deal/know with/a retailer that sales a transition of this size?

Race parts Solutions. I get all my couplers and t-bolt clamps from them, fair prices, good service. 4 Ply is probably overkill for an air intake, but I think that all they carry.

For an air intake like he is building, you are generally right. Fernco and whatever knockoff brand the plumbing sections carry are designed for sewage lines, basically no pressure, no vacuum. I dont know how many folks I have seen spend mony on those, only to have them blow up like a ballon under boost, or spilt from vibration. I geuss I've just got tired of re-making stuff.

And if all else fails you might contact Jay Tucker since he makes all of those intake pieces.

    Good luck.

Yeah. Under an NA application I would not see a problem. Under boost they should be fine too. Heck, they are thick. Unless there are other thinner ones that we never used in sewer installations.
