LS Beat another Lincoln

Well, I had a Lincoln on Lincoln grudge match last night. Lincoln Mark-8 Vs the LS last night in Robinson (sorry Brian). The car is familiar – white, black windows and Cobra badges on the side sounded like a stang. Took him or her from a dig light to light in Robinson. Sheets to Eat & Puke. It is about 1/8 mile. He had me for about a length at the dig and then I had about 3-4 lengths on him by the time we hit the next stop. There was a car in front of me at the next light but he took off down 22/30, I caught up around 115 mph but quit there.

I'm suprised, I thought that the Mark VIII's were low 14 second cars? Is the LS that quick?

I honestly don't know what they run in the quarter. It has good topend, but off the line its a slouch. 285hp with I think 3.08s and roughly a 4000# car. The slushbox doesn't help much.

You can say that again! Especially when it's getting it's ass handed to it by a 04 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V8 in Lowe's parkinglot.

OK, 3:73's and AWD came out on top. I just wish the Grand Cherokee could "Drift in England!"

A few friends that control budgeting for the township. The District Magistrate is a good friend of mine as well. Robinson is a great town and we have good cops as well! There are so many newbie’s on the force though.
