I'd say that amazing new technology is merely knock sensors that retard timing if octane isn't high enough and it starts to detonate. Nothing new there. Like the looks of the Bullit though. Wonder what the market adjustments will be on those
The Ford MSRP will probably be bad enough without the "market adjustments". A co-worker picked me up at Davies the other morning. He went into the showroom and was looking at a white Shelby. He said, "That car is $39K, what does a regular GT cost and what do you get with the Shelby?" I said, "You're paying about $9K for maybe 25 horsepower, some suspension bits, a Hurst shifter and Shelby stickers." He looked disgusted and said, "That's what I figured WTF?"
