Did you change the seals / bearings when you swapped axles? Changing the axle without changing the seals is usually trouble. Sometimes there is a groove in the axle as well. There is a deal called an axle saver that will move the seal point, but they are hit or miss on their usage, and I've heard good and bad. My luck has been good, but who knows.

I would suspect upper torque boxes already tweeked if the rear isnt square. When I ripped out my DS upper, the rear was 1/2" toward the passenger side. Regardless of what you find, if you plan to "race the crap out of it", go see Lou and get the upper and lower torque box kits and install them, then weld them again. I used Lou's kits to repair mine, my upper was 1" away from the chassis, and we were able to make the car square to the world with time and patience (plus two porta powers, a floor jack, torches, and a welder). If the DS rubs, check the PS upper first.

Good axles are a good idea. I went a long way with stockers, but recently found the limit of those ;)
