thats terrible. an accident is when you bump into someone not ram a stopped car at 60mph. thats called negligence and there should be charges brought on the driver.

It is very possible, I know a person who rear ended a sentra with an F250 at 25MPH, and smashed it all the way to the rear window.
Small, compact cars do not do well against big vehicles.
