    SN95 front suspension

I'm looking for parts to convert my front end over from the SVO parts to something a little simpler with tjhe SN95 stuff. Ideally, looking for complete control arms, spindles, and brake hardware in one shot, but can / will piece it together as needed. let me know what you might have and prices.

I could be wrong but I believe the control arms are the same. The balljoint is different but a few washers can fix that. What kind of brakes are you looking for? I might be selling my PBR's in the near future. Brand new with pads.

    SN95 brakes

I have some SN95 stuff left over from past projects. I have one '96-'98 spindle(left I believe),rotors, calipers, hubs and some stuff for the rear also. I will look to see exactly what I have and let you know. Wick is right,I just installed SN95 balljoints in my foxbody a-arms on one of my cars that I did an '03 mach 1 brake swap on. You can also use washers, but it's the perfect opportunity to put in new balljoints. Also, the SN95 control arms are wider than fox ones. You'll definitely run into tire fitment troubles if you use the SN95 arms. I used fox arms,'03 mach 1 balljoints, spindles, hubs, calipers and hoses. With '00 GT wheels with 245/45R17's on the front everything fit fine. Anyways,I'll let you know what I dig up.

SVO arms are 14" also so he will be ok, they will just move the wheel back as the svo one has a forward 3/4" offset for better handling .

Thanks guys, let me know what you have.

There is a lot of background to all of this, but going to the SN95 arms gives me a serviceable ball joint, a lighter arm, and reduces the track width a little. The SN95 taper is Very differnet than the SVO taper (and the fox taper). There is a taper adapter made, but .... Going to the SN95 spindles and brakes opens up wheel selection. The SVO (Mark VII) hub causes all kind of wheel issues, plus I can get 4 pot calipers with the SN stuff.

The donor for the SVO was the Continental, so this stuff is 1 1/4" wider than the Mustang Fox.

BTW, for the normal fox guys wanting more track width, you can use Mark VII / Turbo Coupe stuff to gain 3/4" per wheel, but then you have to use the SVO / Mark VII brake stuff and have the same wheel options as I have now (limited)

To be honest, I could car less about all of it, I'm happy with my wheels and brakes. I'm just trying to gather parts up in case I have a ball joint issue as there is no other option.

Rob - I've read that before. Keep in mind I'm already 5 lug, 4 wheel discs, and have been dealing with all the width and hub issues.

For the rears, I am doing the brake flip I can go to a Fox length axle. This helps me with getting more tire under the car. The SVO / Lincoln axles are 1 1/4" a side wider and limit me to front spacing on my wheels.

Right now, I dont "need" to do anything up front, but want to round up parts in case I ever need a ball joint. The SN95 stuff is perfect for me, I just need to get it from the same year group there.
