I was at kenny ross today looking at a mach 1, but it was strange to me i've never seen or heard of an automatic Mach. Yea the link screwd up you'll have to look but its in there.

cant always go by what they put.....i bought my car from there....and in the add AND in the pic it showed a manual transmission....but when i went to get the car it was an auto....

i was there in person and sat in it, the redline in it also starts at 5900

They def made automatic machs. As a matter of fact i saw a red one cruisng around my house the other day.

I was reading an article in either 5.0 or MM&FF (a few years back) and they said that the Mach's with the auto trannys didn't have forged cranks in the engine That stuck in my head for all these years.

Cast cranks in the auto's, hence the lower redlines. The speed limiter is also around 120ish in the auto's and 154 in the stick Mach's.

I would never own an auto car for drag racing, It takes a lot less talent to just stand on the throttle and go for a 1/4 mile ride.

If you buy it and plan on making more than 600 horsepower, good luck with a TKO or any stick besides a built 6 speed. I spent $4000.00 at Promotion for a faceplated pro shifted tko only to have it blow up after 6 passes and I ran mid to high 10's then. I have a th400 now and go high 9's with no worries. I shifted hard and fast, and the tranny couldn't take the hp. I would like to also add they still have my tranny and for some reason won't warranty it or send it back or return my calls.
