    anyone got a clue??

what would make a car seem like it's losing power after you get into the throttle?? car runs and idles fine, but once car is moving and you push the thottle down it seems like it wants to pickup but doesn't.. i checked all the plugs and wires, cleaned the thottlebody and mass air..

    anyone got a clue?

    thx in advance

vacuum leak somewhere??? some leaks will idle fine until you get into it and create more pressure.

could be bad gas. a few years ago i let mine sit a few months and it ended up from the cold and warm in the garage making condensation in my tank and had about 1/3 tank of water too.

Yep, I just did one. No engine light but the meter did go bad. So, now I have a junk meter in my garage. HAHAHAHHA I put the good one in the car I was working on.

OOH, I have no idea. With stangs, we have a ton of parts laying around. GM stuff, well, you know. I am sure there is a way to check voltage, I just dont know how with out reading a book. Fords are easy.

thing about it that got me stumped is i ran it earlier today and no issues, then i went down the street tonight no issues there but it started on the way back..

i've been a ford man a long time, i just needed a beater so why not a GM right.. lol

the trans am was just a spur of the moment thing and im kinda glad it's finished now i can get another stang.lol

HAHA On a GM this usually means the module is going bad. Cold-runs decent, hot-runs like shit.

cam sensor could definitely cause the issue as well. Seen that on multiple Ford 4.2 sixes

My buddy's Grand Am had similar problems, the cats were clogged. Replaced them and all is good.
