I read a thread from a Bosch engineer that said that the newer ABS modules will fall back to independent mode operation if the ABS control module can not communicate with the motor’s ECM. I am hoping someone with a service manual can confirm this. I could also use a pin out diagram of a 1999 ABS control module for a vehicle “without traction control’”. This is what I have… “ABS Control Module and Pump for a 99-04 Ford Mustang GT without traction control. The Ford part number is F9ZZ-2C346-BA”.
