Which Hood Do You All Like?

It's between one of these 3 hoods for my '87 GT but I can't decide!

go with the first one.. Can never go wrong with a cowl hood and those match the lines of a foxbody

I agree...#1. Flows well with the fox body lines. I know cowl hoods on fox body stangs are very common, but they look good.

I like the cowl, and see from that picture you are shopping at HO Fibertrends Since they dont make anthing like the others, I would go with the cowl ;) Should have picked one up from them at Columbus, you save the crate fee, shipping, and they give a little discount there too.

I picked mine up Saturday (2 1/2" cowl), see picks in this thread

WICK (ROb) put me up to HO Fibertrends, I talked with one of the owners and they seem to know what they're doing. I'm going for the cowl hood....thanks for all the input!

I was actually considering one of those too as they look pretty mean, but always go back to the cowl. Thanks!

I actually had a 2 1/2 cowl for my 86GT. For some reason, the hood did not fit well. It hit my strut tower brace on the rear. I picked up a 1 1/2" Mach 1 hood and that is what I have on the car. With the Mach 1 hood the car runs cooler and you can get the ramair box if you want. I like both. Cowl looks clean, Mach 1 looks tough. The middle choice is too much. Just my opinion.
