    1969 Ford Thunderbird Landau -2 door, 429 T-jet

I’m looking to sell my 69 T-bird. It’s certainly no show car, but a nice entry-lever driver to tinker with and cruise around.

    Good:

    Solid body & chassis
    Almost 100% complete
    Good running 429 thunderjet (11:1 compression, 4-barrel, 360hp stock!)
    Good working c6 trans
    Brakes work great
All stainless trim is in great shape
    Flip up headlights actually work

    Bad:

Paint has some scratches and blems here and there
Drivers seat has a rip in it
Drivers side door glass needs put back in
Exhaust has a leak from dinged pipe
    One headlight burnt out
Has some rust bubbles under the vinyl roof

Car fires right up the first time…and drives anywhere. Would make a nice winter project to repair the odds and ends.

    Must sell, asking $1800 OBO

Last pic (in the first post) shows the car is still wearing the factory undercoating.

I to own the exact car. I bought it for the engine and tranny for my fairlane. The ThunderJet and CobraJet motors make almost identical power numbers... 470ish torque at 3k

Ya....the engine and tranny are pretty stout pieces in stock form. This car is in too good of shape for me to just yank the drivetrain though.

    No reasonable offer refused
