    OEM vs. Reproduction Fenders

How bad are the after market fenders?

I need a set on 91-93 V8 fenders. I can get a set of reproduction fender clean, straight and primed for under 120.00.

Besides the thiner metal and the holes for the body molding nor being drilled, what problem am I going to see?

Not having to prep an used set of fender sure sounds nice.

I have heard good and bad about aftermarket.
You could have possible alignement issues.

Just make sure they are KAPA certified at least.

Also, 91-93 need the bigger fender to compensate for the wheel difference change over 87-90

That is exactly why I want 91-93 fenders. I have a 1987 HB but I want to run wide wheels with a Maximum Motorsports K-Member. Between the wide wheels and the wheels moving 3/4 forward, the 87 fenders are going to rub.

I am in the middle of getting my car ready for a full restoration/paint job and have been looking for a drivers fender for months. Couldn't find a decent one that was OEM and wouldn't settle for aftermarket.

Good body parts are becoming difficult to find for foxes now.

    Good luck

I think the ones LMM sells are made from Ford tooling..
2015 A6 Mustang GT that so far has gone 9.48@147 but still the fastest prochargerd S550 in the world aside from Tim Essick's!

When I had my car done the body shop guy did'nt like the fit of the aftermarket fender so he had me find a real ford fender. Cost me more to prep it but it was worth it.
