    gadget guru's

    thoughts on this cheap camcorder. thought it be nice to take some vids of kyan. for the price i dont think its bad. im not spending 300+ so keep those comments out.

    I got a $200 7.1MP Kodak digital camera that takes GREAT video to my suprise. Took a video of my buddy's wedding on the beach and it was better than the one done with the actual video camera, plus you can also do still shots as well. Best of both worlds and sounds like an affordable solution for you.

    Sounds good Ed but can you zoom in and out with it while taking video? Most still/vid cams cannot.

    That's the only drawback, but has not bothered me for all I use it for. You have to be zoomed where you want it before you start capturing video.

    I hear ya. I noticed this when filming a car go down the strip. Oh well.

    after looking again....i think itd be worth a little extra to get one that records to mini dvd.

    how hard is it to take vids from a pc and put on dvd that will play in dvd player?
