well as some of you know i tore my old ladys car back down and im getting ready to put it back together and wondered if i should reuse the headgaskets. they look fine and dont looked smashed or anything, no run time on them at all. they were almost a hundred bucks, hoping i can use them.

No. Use all new gaskets unless you feel like doing the jobe twice.

If there was no run time, I have seen it done before. My buddy did it on his '68 Camaro motor with a Weiand 6-71 on it. No problems.

Personally the job is a PITA enough to not do it over to save the price of a pair of gaskets.

well because of all the issues im having with it, i think im just going to reuse them but crank the headbolts down like 5-8 more ft lbs and see what happens, that way if i have to tear it down again i dont f u c k myself outta of another 100 bucks.

you can use them gaskets again.I wouldn't swicth them from side to side.If you have stock head bolts you are asking for trouble. If you don't torque them to fel por specs you will be replacing them anyways. They have to crush the copper ring inside the fire ring.
