I would have just popped them with this, my Sig 220 .45 auto, no need to break out the big stuff.

A guy I know that races a Lightning has known Joe a long time, and brought Joe out to the track last weekend to get him outta his house some. The guy is an old Mopar racer, and is really torn up about this deal. He said that once he saw the thieves coming out of the house with merchandise, and since no police were showing up, he felt he had to do something. The thieves actually came onto his property and were within 10 feet of him when he told them to stop or he would shoot... they turned around and started to run, and he shot. This was verified by a plain-clothes officer who showed up in an unmarked car and heard Joe warn them to stop. The two thugs were both illegal aliens and were carrying fake ID's, and have been in trouble for drug trafficking. I am not sure they "deserved" to die, but I am not sure exactly how I would react in a similar situation. I don't think I would draw down on someone unless I was planning to shoot. And, if I were gonna shoot, I don't think I would be looking to miss... legs would not be my target.

If you're not prepared to get shot / killed, then you shouldn't choose to be a thief. Three cheers for Texas!!! - lawmakers there actually have some balls...

Joe actually did what most people in America would like to do to criminals but don't due to the laws that do protect the criminals. Texas has the fleeing felon and the castle doctrine laws on the books so it should be a simple case of no charges filed, but I'm sure that some liberal prosecuter will try and ignore the laws that protect the law abiding citizen while doing everything to help the poor illegal alien that does nothing but break our laws:readrules:

or how about going through the legal channels like my best friend's wife did. took her almost 2 years in total but she doesn't have to look over her shoulder for INS.

Nice people finish last. Joe should run for President, I might actually register to vote. I really have no respect for the ***** attitude this country has evolved into. There is no excuse for anyone to have to be afraid to go to jail for wacking a bunch of trash cleaning out someones house while there probably at work busting their nuts to have a decent honest life.
