    Just disable the fuel pump or ignition and it will crank w/o starting.

    I disconnect the crank sensor on my car to do this. It sets a code but I don't care as I have a scanner to clear it. It's just as easy to disable the fuel pump via the fuse under the hood.

    I use a fogging sprayer to put oil into the cylinders to ward off rust and keep them lubed while it sets.

    yea i did a little looking on the net about this and didnt see anythign about car engines, but there was all kinds of stuff about boat motors... but never really said much about how to do it....

    how do you do it? just spray that fogger spray lightly/generously in the spark plug hole?
