Viper systems

I was considering, next time I manage to save up money, to buy a Viper system.

Any of you guys have anything good/bad to say about Viper? You use any other security instead? I'm gonna start going to college soon and I need to know whenever I feel like taking my car to the campus that no fags are gonna try to jack it.

ive never taken my to school. i wouldnt worry about people jackin it, id worry about kids pissin on it, keyin it, or throwin something at it.

i've had different viper systems on few old rides and i liked them. now this new car i just bought has the viper/remote start combo on the same remote, and so far i got no issues

yea its not worrying about them stealing it, its you coming out and your car being on jack stands once you get those sick bullits on there.. cause everyone knows how sick black with chrome lip bullits are.. Thats why i gots them.. o yea. lol.. but i have a clifford on mine and like it.

i hear ya.. you will love the look though.. just grab them windows and put some tint on them and it will look pure bada$$

I actually like the older taillights. Wish I would of known, we could of traded even!

damn.. lol.. i have mine for sale though with the wiring harness that just plugs into your car and thats it.. the bezels were actual just re painted two years ago so paint is awesome on them.. let me know if interested.

I'll keep you in mind.

We'll have to meet up at prp or one of the fld's and see if they'd look good on my car; if I'd be happy with them.

Talk to First Bass on here. he's the man to talk to about electronic upgrades. but IMO alarms are useless. how many times have you walked past a car at the mall when the alarm was going off? if they want it enough, they'll take it.

Actually 2 years ago my dad had an 05 Roush, and it was stolen. He was considering getting Viper installed, but the dealership insisted that it was a waste of time and money all because of the FM key bullshit. Well anyone can pick it up by the rear wheels and drive off with it. And I know the Viper systems can have GPS in 'em.

Lojak would be best if it's available in this area.

At best they are good if installed properly. If the control module can be gotten to easily you might as well just save your money for the insurance deductible when it's taken. They are only as good as your installer, no matter what brand. And.. if they want it bad enough and you give them the time needed a wheel lift with a good driver can nab it quickly.

i like viper stuff or the parent company dei . they have new 2 way alarms that warn you if something is happening to your vehicle ,i am putting one on my truck next week. i have had a dei alarm in my escort since 1994 still works great.
