Smile Bought Wifey a new whip...

0% is hard to pass up. 2007 Pontiac G6 GT Sedan. 3.5L V6 224hp/220tq. Electric blue with chromies. It's such a chic car. It handles great and has adequate power. Only 300 miles right now... hopefully like most GM engines it will pick up a few ponies after it loosens up a bit. We got it last Saturday and it never fails when she gets a car, it will rain or snow for 5 days straight. Don't have any new pics, but it looks just like this one:

Like they say... "If she's happy, you're happy"

nice, those are sharp cars, I have the 3.5 in my wifes 07 impala it's got plenty of power, can't go by those horsepower numbers though, they say my trailblazer has 300 and there is no way maybe 30

somebody had a dyno graph on a G6 forum for the 3.5. It was 177 at the wheels. That calculates to 208 with 85% loss. I know the auto sucks more hp than a manual, but I read somewhere that FWD cars don't have as much driveline loss either??? The tune is real conservative, too. When it shifts from 1-2 it feels like you run into a wall of pillows.

I'm not allowed to shop for mods for the "warranty-car". Maybe I can, at least get a drop-in K&N?

HAHA Congrats. My wife liked those when they first came out. But she stayed with ford. When I saw "whip" I was expecting something else. HAHAHAH

I've been driving the G6's a lot lately as rental cars. Pretty solid cars on the highway, decent milage, fairly comfortable. Being a taller fat guy, I hate the position of the door pillar, its a pita to get in and out of the car, and the seatbelt is never right, but thats a complaint for me on ALL the Pontiacs.Last weel I had a loaded GXP as a rental, sweet ass car, same complaint except the seats where even more uncomfortable, but man was that a sweet ride :D

    Exclamation

I was looking under it last night. It has factory square-tube subframe connectors front to back on both sides and a connector going side to side. looks like a big H. prolly why it handles like it does?

Mark / Rob... did you think she wore the old "whip" out or just needed a different style?
