Paul, I have a few 352/390/410/428s. I wasnt interested in selling but if he cant find one, call me. I have one complete from pan to carb that runs good.
Again, I want to be a last resort on the 390 front but I have one if you cant get one. I usualy give my small block stuff away for nothing but I charge for the big blocks.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind if he doesn't come up with anything. Are they hard to find or something??? I know absolutely nothing about them.

Paul:
My dad is an FE guy and still has some nice stuff laying around. He's building a stroked FE for his GT500 now.
Its all in Toledo, but its nothing for him to bring stuff here when he visits.
You can call him: Jim 419-320-7570

Nice - what kind of stroker? I didnt have a 427 when I built my 64 so I just took a 390 block 30 over with a 428 crank. Came out to almost a 417. Combined that with some aluminum heads and tri power
You can stroke a 427 to some nice cubes. Most people take it to a 454.
You got it....454" with a 427 block/428 crank. Its for his '67 GT500 and is an older piston kit. They didn't make the pistons for a while but I think they do now for this combo. He had a lot of unique FE stuff, some of which he kept for the Shelby. He thought about the AL heads but he had a nice set of ported (med-riser I think) so thats what he's using along with some original LeMans rods. I don't know all the details and what he may have available for the 390, but I know we had 10 blocks or so a while back.
Car will be going for paint this spring, I'm looking forward to seeing it done.
