Let me know what you have. Just picked up a low-mile '99 SVT for my DD.
Its bone stock, so anything considered.

A buddy of mine has one. He has the basics done to it. Intake.brullen catback exhaust, and some suspension etc but there wasnt alot of aftermarket for the car. Nice cars though no doubt. Its funny that u got one cause i had a brainstorm about how nice it would be to have one as a dd. I saw a nice 2000 silver one with the midnight blue interior that was really clean. Good luck with it.

The link above has some info for you to take a look at. Aftermarket parts for the SVT Contour aren't exactly a bargain due to how small the niche market is for these vehicles. I have spent alot of money at the SHO Shop www.shoshop.com in my past life and can definitely recommend purchasing parts from Vladim (owner of the shop...pronounced Vla-deem). Intake, Exhaust, and UD pullies would be my recommendation...anything more and you'll have to crack open the engine. Then again some larger butterflies and hotter cams would make that 2.5 scream!
Good luck with it and definatley check out www.contour.org for some great info and people who are very much into their cars. I used to have a contour when I was in high school and college and spent alot of time on that board.
If you get a chance post up some pics of it! I was looking for a low miles SVT Contour when I bought my Taurus, just couldnt find one that was in decent shape. I would love to have one someday...
Good luck with it!
Thanks guys. I've been on contour.org quite a bit have have a plan of what I'll be doing.
I definitely love the car as a DD. I was lucky to find it.....'99 silver/blue with only 13,800 miles.

Here ya go, not clean but all I got. I had it shipped from CO to my hometown of Toledo then my wife drove it here in a downpour ruining the fresh detail (didn't even need it though---still smells new). Got lucky and found it at a Benz dealer---a pilot with a car collection traded it in as a deposit on a CLS AMG :
Windows are now tinted but it probably won't look too pretty until spring.
I have a 75 miles commute and it is great on gas.
Wow, it looks great! I was looking forever for one in that shape, and no such luck. Good luck with it, it looks brand new.
Sucks it's going to get high miles but hey that's what they are for. I've never seen one that clean used.
