So I was bored today, pulled part of the Capri rear appart, only to run into a broken cross pin retaining bolt I ordered up a kit that is supposed to make removal of that bolt a 10 minute affair, we will see ;)
Anyway, some random pictures of parts I broke this year......
Broken Axle:
Journal bearing turbo, about 90 minutes total run time with an oil issue:
Compressor wheels:
Collection of T3 Turbos all fragged this year:
Compressor outlet hose repaired with friction tape, electrical tape and wire ties after the bits of one of those compressor wheels where imbedded in it, only to blow appart later:
Melted #2 piston:
Car on the trailer after alternator fried and went to a dead short killing the battery too:
So, this year, melted a piston, fried alternator, killed a PILE of turbos, and finally finished the year breaking an axle. Not bad for a pile of stock junk :D
