cobra wreck

Well Guys I was on rt40 today at 9:30am hit black ice in the cobra lost it hit a hillside..fir hydrant and finally stoped at a gravel filled drive way as for the stang..front bumper gone... drive side skirt and scoop gone..drives fender destroed...hood..5 50 cent piece dents..headlights/foglights ripped out and lost...windshield cracked...rear bumper got scratches/holes...passanger got miror busted,,minor dings...bags didnt deploy for some reason so i ended up hitting my head on the wheel..went to the er i got a sprin spine and concustion...in all what a horrible day just wanted to share the car is at shaffers towing..then shes gone to timmys shop in the am

what will the insurance do about the flames like if i wanna replace the 01 cobra hood with a 03 hood will insurance go for it or not

insurance wont pay for the flames unless you got 1. a nice agent or 2. you insured it for over book value. they will not pay for a 03 hood. they will give you cost of the 01 hood and you can pay the difference if you got a body shop willing to work with ya.

you gonna fix it or sell it wrecked? still trading it in?

well i found the price for a o1 hood and 03 hood is the same on mrbodykit.com

not trading it now..lol
probably keeping it after timmy fixes it

they wont use mrbodykit....besides their shit sucks!

99% of companies only use FORD OEM prices. and the 01 hood is MUCH cheaper since it also came on 03/04 V6 stangs

keep in mind if you run the 03/04 cobra hood with a non 03/04 front bumper you will have a small gap where the corral ends meet the hood. its small but noticable if you know to look

the rear went...spun 3 times,,then hitt a yellow fire hydrant

then wait the kick in the nuts...10 min after i wrecked

the damn penn dot guy came putting salt down...i could kicked his ass i swear to god

That's funny my insurance company paid me full price for my cervini's hood, and every aftermarket body piece on my car that was damaged when i got wrecked into.

all depends on your company/policy. but the thing is he has a stock hood so they wont give him the cost of something other than what he has.
