    so finally going 5 bolt

i have an entire 01 donor car, now im just debating about wheels options. I'd like to put on a set of 18x10 in the rear and 18x9 front anthracite saleen wheels on it. if you've done 5 bolt before what kind of wheels have you used and what offset?? i have a set of 18x10s with i believe a 23mm offset to try when i get the rear in the car

If you use the 96 and up spindles, I'm pretty sure you will only be able to run up to a 8" wheel in the front. To use the 17x9's you would need the 94-95 spindles.

i guess if i want to go 9 inch in the front i will have to run 24mm offset and 5.95" BS according to the site

These are the same but come with the cobra center cap which I think looks better!! I have a 5 lug conversion but with sn95 front and ranger axels in the back. What wheels would fit my car?

I have 17x9s and spindle of a 00 on my GT it takes a bit of trimmin but they do fit. you should be able to get away with less trimming than i did. maximum motorsports front suspension sets the ball joint forward 3/4in. so i lost some space.

    Update:

i may have found a way to make 99+ axles work in a fox housing! I'll keep you guys updated, this would really broaden the selection of axles you could use to go 5 bolt and still keep your stock fox housing.

If you want to used the 99+ stuff, you are looking at using the 05+ wheels or SVO wheels. My Capri is all SVO underneath (+1.25 per corner to Fox), and the best I could do for wheels at that width is waffle stars. I'm doing a brake flip on the rear of mine this winter to go back to a normal fox width axle and get more wheel under the car (actually tire, I'm not worried about wheel).

well the 99+ axles will def not work no matter what, but i just had to see for myself seeing as how i had them on hand. but i took my 01 rear end back and got a 94 and now i have something i can work with, should be finishing up the rear tomorrow. its been pushed aside for paying customers in the garage.

    First, Nice looking car.
Second, I got lost in the thread again. What is your final setup?
Stock rear housing with 94 axles and 01 front spindles? What size wheels did you use?

    Thanks alot guys!

    the parts used were
    stock housing
94-95 axles and rear brake hoses, 01 rear calipers and brake brackets
01 spindles and brakes up front

that car has a stock 8 inch wheel front and back, i had 18x10s i put on it just for fun, they stuck out a little too much haha, im sure i could pull a 9inch off in the rear
