    Need help with VBA (.Net)

This is a long shot, but was wondering if any SCSers might be able to help me with a VBA (.Net) programming solution. I have 2 simple MS Access databases (versions 2000 and 2003) that require a pull down menu on a form, allow the user to select an item from the pull down, then display the results in the main body of the form, allowing for updating, then saving. I have the pull down working, but am all thumbs when it comes to .Net and programming.

I've been looking at various Access forums and can't find the solution I need. The frustrating part is that I did something like this years ago and I can't remember what I did.

    thx

I have set up a database many years ago now that had that option and I know I was able to get it to work with out using the VBA editor. I'll see if I can dig it up if I still have a copy of it saved.

Thanks Ed! I'd like to check it out. I think I tried that method in the past and could never get it to work.

When I did this about 8 yrs ago, I had to use VBA due to the nature of the beast and having the need to use DML commands. I should probably break down and buy a copy of the updated O'Reilly Access Anteater book.

NO luck Alicia. I searched everywhere on all my computers as well as the company server. I'm thinking it was on a portion of the old server's hard drive that I didn't migrate over when I replaced it.

Thanks for looking Ed. I found my old VB .Net programming text. If I don't find it there, I'm off to my favorite library (Border's) and snarfing text. :p I've gotten some good recipes that way.

Figured it out. Duh! There is a combo box wizard on the form design level that'll help with the pull down and poplulate the form. Just have to fine tune it now.
