    Local Chrome Plating Shops?

I already know about Pauls. Are there any more good shops around?

Jim's Chrome (I think) in Jeannette is where everyone I know goes. I can get the exact info if you want.

The was a place in Imperial that did my Dad's Desoto parts years ago. Not sure if they're still around or not. I think it was called Imperial Plating. If not I know my cousin just had some stuff done at Bill's in Jeanette and was happy with the work. Whatever you do, don't give Paul's and their overpriced work any business. Hell, ship it to some Mexican in California 1st.

Imperial isn't there anymore last time I drove by.

I am calling Bills today thanks for the quality referral.

    Bill's Chrome

He also does polishing - had some SS done and it turned out amazing. Looks like chrome. He'll messenger parts (n/c) for anyone in the North Hills -- his son works in Cranberry at American Eagle.

It's not his shop, any chrome shop will be that expensive. Thank the EPA!

The EPA has put in so many restrictions and regulations that most shops have gone out of business. Sadly, in a case like your's it is cheaper to just buy new. Chrome platers are really only still in business because of the demand to re-chrome restoration parts or one off parts. Bill's does top notch work, but just like any other plater, expect to have your wallet hurting when you leave.
