    nitrous questions

    so i got a nx kit for christmas and of course now i have a few questions. the kit doesnt come with the rpm window switch so i was lookin at a msd digital switch. any thoughts??
    also, i know 75 would be safe but i have the jets to 150. i think id be comfortable runnin 100. my question is, what would i be lookin at as far as fuel upgrades are concerned?

    You should probably go with a 255 lph pump and and adj. fuel pres. regulator. I may have a MSD dig. window switch for sale if the nitrous kit I have doesn't sale.

    i have a afpr on already. still have the stock fuel pump

    i would def get a good pump as for how much i have seen my fair share of stock bottom end 5.0 hold 150 with no problems to date however their are precaution that should be taken timing,fuel pressure,colder plugs etc

    I'm no expert on Nitrous set-ups, but..........

    When I was planning out my stuff, I thought I might want to spray on it at some point. I also new I need an igntion box (big boost ;) ). So when I went shopping, I came across this:

    I only use mine as an ignition, but it has two features that would be really cool for a nitrous set-up. There is a built in window switch that is pretty much needed, plus a single stage timing retard. Basically, that will pull out "X" degrees of timing when active. Basically, you can fire your notrous system off the window switch, and bring the power in to retard the timing when on the spray, but still run your "agressive" timing off the spray.

    MSD has similar with their digital 6 box. Not what you asked specifically, but something to consider if you want a "safe" system.

    I was gonna suggest digital 6 but what Bob suggested sounds basically like the same thing and it wouldnt hurt to upgrade to a better pump.

    Most people will just bend up some hard line tubing.
