I got one for you electric junkys

I have a 94 Gt, in the garage, bone stock, they brought it to me for an electric problem, i have come to find when you hook up the batt terminals the parking lights stay on and the trunk popper stays on and some misc stuff stays on, all the switches are turned off for these items, this has got me scratching my head... what do you think? I am kinda thinking relay problems but am shooting in the dark thus far... maybe jacke harness, do these cars have a body control module? and does the trunk popper have a relay?

the trunk release is in the glove box and the rest of the parking light wires are in other places i would check the fuse box behind the battery.

    timmy,

try the keyless entry module. the module mounts in the left side of the trunk on a coupe, by the tail light in the 1/4 panel area. it is behind the side trim. 13 pin connector. figure it Controls door lock/unlock, trunk lid unlock, automatic door lock, anti-theft system arm/disarm, panic alarm activate/deactivate, illuminated entry, battery saver features, and monitors various switches throughout the vehicle. w/ that said, all the shit your saying points to that.

i believe a hot wire shorted to ground would cause all relays to stay on.
