    Vibration Question

Ok, well i have been noticing lately that when my car hits from like 80-85+ it starts to vibrate/shake, anybody know what this could be, i bought new tires, had them balanced, checked the driveshaft and it seems to be fine...

Any other suggestions on what to check??

I would have to agree with the alignment. Not that I know alot of the technical stuff, but my celica used to do the same thing. I had the alignment done and tires changed and balanced and it stopped.

X2 - good question to diagnose with. One other, soes it do it under power only or both drive and coast?

I dont think you can "look" at the driveshaft and tell if its okay. One other thing I've really seen, all the stock driveline dampers on these cars are getting old, the rubber dries out, etc. Mine actually smoothed out after I took the "dogbone" off the housing since it was so hard it wasnt doing its thing.

Yes, and no i havent hit any curbs lately, i think that its just that my car needs aligned... *Hopes*

and by going faster it stays the same, if not getting worse, i mean right when it starts to vibrate i back off, because im worried about breaking something, and breakin something doing 80+ wont be fun..

I also had vibration issues last year(see thread below). When I spoke to Hoss at Hoss' Gear Shop about my issue, he said vibrations are almost always related to the driveshaft if the suspension and tire balance issues are ruled out.
