i've owned a few quads in my lifetime so far, but im looking at another one and was wondering if anyone had any info or opions on this certain quad. i can get it cheap and im just looking for something to mess round on.

there good..my dad has one..he loves he also has a polaris 550cc that is a total piece of Sh**
i used to have one back in the day. i loved it!!
had one and got rid of it to get the bike... I LOVED it, no 4 stroke around could touch it, but i always prefer two wheels anymore thus the bike.
well this one is 4stroke... ive had 2stroke and i didnt really like them too much, due to mixing gas/oil and plug fowling

the mixing gas really doesnt bother me, but that's preference.... the only time i could see it advantageous to not mix gas is if i were out in an area where there were gas stations not far from the trail.... i dont see why its such a pain, but i know lots of ppl that don't like it...
how is that? i personally think 2-strokes are awesome! 10 times easier to rebuild and a total blast to ride!!!

the old fourtrax are pretty hard to beat however I'd opt for the raptor given the 2 choices.

If thats just a TRX 250, its garbage. They are auto. If its a 2 stroke 250R, then its a serious ripper. Like my Quadracer is. A 250 2 stroke ripper. They weigh nothing. A raptor 660 can keep up up to about mid range. After that the 250 will beat it. I have owned all of them. 660's bored to a 686, a new FI 700 raptor, 250R's.

Yes, Atleast the Raptor has some Raxor's on the back. They run man. Just be extremely careful of the transmission. If its modded, ride it around and shift up and down a bunch of times. If there is any crunchyness at all, jew him down a ton. Then bring it to me to put a new trans in.lol.. ok well guess im go take a look at the raptor then, thx rob
