    Steggy stage V port

Has anyone seen any results from this yet? I have been reading up on it a little on SVTPerfromance. I called them today and they said i could expect 540rwhp with my Accufab TB and Plenum, 2lb lower and 2.8 upper. What do you guys think?

I'd have a hard time beleiving 540 rwhp. My car with a stage IV port, 4# lower and a 2.8 upper was just over 500 rwhp. 40 rwhp with less boost just sounds like a far stretch.

you know me well enough to know i don't give a sh$t about dyno numbers...just the et's. when i took bonecrushers car to ken he made 500 at the tires with a stage 3, you made the same with a 4. who knows, maybe he's desperate cause he's ported every eaton on the planet!!!! i never jump on stuff like this until there is some sort of proof...

Yep and all I have is a 2.76 upper.

The stage 3 was the best they've done thus far IMHO, they should have just kept that version. Either way you can't go wrong with Stiegemeier. Like Mike said they have ported more eaton's than anyone on the planet and are good to deal with (at least for me). Plus with a ported blower you make more HP with less boost which is always a good thing.

I hear ya! that is what i was thinking. If i were to get a port, is a 2.8 upper and 4# lower safe? I was going to go with a 2# lower, but seems like more and more people are running 4#

All depends on the tune, octane of fuel you run, HE and HE reservior size, and the purpose you use the car for. I have a 2.93 upper and a 6lb lower.

I had to add a lower to make up for the torque that I lost after the Stage IV port. I just decided to go with the 4# lower based on Dave @ SGS's reccomendation and I was glad I did! Had zero issues with it making right around 18# of boost. I had a upgraded Heat Exchanger with the stock reservior.

I ran the 2.8 upper and 4lb lower....with no problems

To do it over I would do the same pulley setup as Lou...just less chance of belt slip and it'll let the IAT2's stay cool.

my car with stage IV and 2.8, 4# did 507/508 on one dyno and 503/517 on another...16psi boost...logged during the pulls.

540rwhp on this stage V eaton would be awesome.....

Just make sure you have your 60# injectors to go along with that Stage V port.

As well as a BAP and different MAF or extender.

I had a 2.93/4# lower with steggy stage 3 port (60# injectors mafia, bap etc). 11.8 a/f, 21 degrees on 94 octane. Was suppose to make around 510 hp. mine made 490/503. not the numbers they said, but not every dyno read is the same. Car still ran 123 mph on nittos full weight. So needless to say I'd say it worked hah. I saw their post about the stage 5 and the numbers sounded great but the a/f looked fairly lean. Give or take their ports are proven and some of the fastest eaton cobras have them.

i heard others say it looked lean as well. I am by no means disagreeing with anyone because i am just learning this stuff from you guys, but do you think i will need 60# injectors? I know i will need an MAF and BAP or GT pumps. I may buy a used stage IV, would i need 60#ers?

With the typical stage IV you would not need injectors....you would definately need a BAP and MAFia or equal.

However, for probably a couple hundered $ difference between a used stage IV and a new stage V...if the gains are indeed 30+rwhp....just get the V...don't waste time/$ with the IV.

Well that all depends, everyones car is different. Some guys have ran upwards of 550 hp on stock injectors. I put them in my car at the time I did the port bc down the road I knew I was gonna buy a twin screw. Best advice is to just get the mafia, and pumps or bap for now. I see you get your car tuned locally so when you they tune it you'll know if you need 60#er's while your there.

Exactly. They can check all that when you get a dyno tune. All I needed was the MAF, new plugs and a BAP. My stock pump and injectors were still good and I've never had a problem.

I have not seen any results yet. I think a couple guys on SVTP got theirs back, but have not yet installed and/or tuned yet. I am very curious as well.
