Cool Anybody been to the Headkeeper in Greensburg?

It's where the old Beanie's used to be at the bottom of the hill at the weird intersection on 119. One of the owners used to be the chef at the Spitfire Grill. The other guy is the "beer" dude. They claim 600 beers. 1/3 of the cooler is international. The rest is good 'ole American micro brews. They got the standard Bud/Miller junk behind the bar.

For the record, I usually drink Miller Lite and keep that cheap shit in my fridge, but when confronted with "600" beers, I think I've tried about 1/2 of them on two seperate visits now.

The food is a "tappas" style menu. I've had tappas in the past and needed a Whopper on the ride home, but this is more Westmoreland County Redneck tappas. The portions are bigger and very tasty.

It's amazing if you've ever been to Beanie's. It was a chithole. This place is damn near "ultra trendy"

It definitely wouldn't make it in FayCo, but it should do well in Greensburg, IMO.

The prices seem high at first, but we were there a few weeks ago with 2 other couples. the bill was $180 for six peeps and we were all full of food and brewskies... and BS at that point.

If I'm ever out that way, I'll definitely check it out. The Bottle Shop in Heidelburg (behind Damons) is pretty good as well. Tons of beers, good food, and the hottest bartenders/waitresses around! My personal favorite is Bocktown which is in North Fayette across from Target....better food, more beer, less hot chicks :o(
