    Wiring harnesses and guages - 94 v6

Sorry for what is probably an obvious thing for you guys, but im new to stangs and I dont have the correct service manuals yet.

I have the engine, tranny, and computer from a 94 that im going to put into my 90 fox. Were there any gauge changes from an electrical standpoint between the 87-93's and the 94?

My second question is do I need ford's computer to control the automatic transmission, or are the electronics for the transmission computer independent?

Just trying to weigh my options for the next step in the build process once I get some control arms on the back.

    Thanks.

Nevermind, I see you using a V6. I was going to say use a Fox Computer.

I'm not 100% sure that this applies to the V6's, but the speedometer wasn't cable driven as in the fox bodies and if its an AODE I don't believe that there is a seperate computer for the trans. In order to control that transmission you may want to look into this:

    http://www.becontrols.com/

There's some great information there too on the ford autos that should really help you out when it comes to that part of the build.

I saw that, but its not a fox chassis and Im possibly doing a few other things to make it unique, yet not rice.

You'll see as I document progress. I found some cheap NEW garrett T3's. Smaller than I want but in a twin setup the size of the compressor wheels should get me into the 11's.

In any event, i'll check out that other website too and see what I need.

Hell no, boost is your friend (and good intercooling) Life begins at 25 psi :D My junk is as cheap as it gets, a pile of factory parts pushed to the limit (and then some). I laugh every time someone says a T3 is a 250 HP turbo ;)
