It's good to see that Ed does get his hands dirty!
Ed...what was the old setup? I know it was twins but beyond that
What made you change things up?

Yep, Twins are going back on even though Joe wants to take the engine and run it in N/A form in Stocker to see what it does. Heads just have the stock springs from Trick Flow.

Old setup was Iron GT-40's and a Trick Flow Stage 1 Cam. I just can't leave things alone.

BTW, this was a new 1st for Pure Stock and Cam303 getting the chance to assemble a H/C/I setup while sitting underneath the car it came from. Somehow I think it threw Joe's timing off on the chain but the Magical Cam Dust got us thru it!:D

Consider it a blessed union. As the last mm of the cam slid into the block and the majic dust was distributed I felt the POWER.

Great example of why I'm putting a SFI bell on when everything goes back it.

Well, no more Twins! I found out on Saturday that the turbo's that were on this car are junk! The entire twin kit is now off the car and going bye bye.

Now I have a decision as to what to do with the car. Leaning towards leaving it N/A and getting rid of it or seeing if it would like to take a ride down Rt. 76mm for some Viagra.

The bearings are shot. When I got the car Jeff said he just had them rebuilt and they had about 500 miles on them. If that's the case, either the bearings were not changed when they were rebuilt, or they were and the shafts are bent and caused them to wear out that fast.
