    I have a stock motor in my car.
    stock shortblock
    stock intake
    stock heads
    and my car makes over 500 at the wheels

    I have those same pistons in my car thats been stuffed full of boost for years and have had zero issues. Dont believe the hype!

    ive never seen a bone stock 5.0 on the dyno but very close there was a guy at AFN this year he had a 92lx5 speed it had the base timing at 14 and a k&n in the stock box with the silencer removed. still had stock exhaust and he said it still had stock gears and it was a 49,000 mile car very nice also very clean it made 189hp i thought that was pertty good

    the other was a 88 gt 5 speed with high miles the guy said it had 18x,xxx.it had 3:55, a flowmaster cat back and a catted h pipe i think bbk, base timing at 14, bbk cold air in the fender well it made 223 hp

    those are the only details i have about the 2 cars

    My car is a 94 but they are the same pistons as the 93's. I do have a 92 Mustang w/ some nice factory forged pistons though....
    I also have this nice rebuilt 302 with factory forged pistons in it that have been flycut, & a nice canton main girdle. So when my motor finally does go boom, I have this one sitting here waiting to go in.

    my 1990 5.0 with underdrives and some timing made 207hp at the wheels. woohoo.

    I had one. It was stock down to the original plugs from 86.
