You mean PE? Its been so long since I passed my PE exam I doubt any of that will do you any good. In PA its a state program anyway, I doubt any of the does you any good.

PA has been NCEE since I took my exam in April of 79. When it was the PA exam it was in January and June. I took the first NCEE exam in PA. Surveyors still have a state specific portion though. I believe it was for reciprocity purposes. I also think they call the EIT(Engineer in Training) the FE(Fundamentals of Engineering) exam now but I am not sure about that.

Jared I would recommend some type of refresher course depending on how long you have been out of school. It gets you back into study mode.

you are correct about the FE.

i have been out two years, but work in engineering every day. i also am going back in the fall for one more class to finish my two degrees.

i wasnt aware the exams were state specific. thanks

The EIT isn't state specific. Neither is the PE as far as I know. The PLS has a state specific portion but also uses the National test I believe.

My PE certificate was issued by PA, and that is who issues my renewal.
