    Clean Vic

I decided to take advantage of the nice weather on Tuesday and give the Vic a well deserved bath. These are my winter rims w/ snow tires. The stock wheels are 17" aluminum.

The duals are stock except for Magnaflow mufflers and Marauder/Megs tips. It came from the factory with 2" duals with an H pipe. The engine has: Steeda underdrives, Marauder airbox with 80mm MAF, Aviator 70mm throttle body, ported and polished upper intake (TB elbow), 180 degree thermostat, 22c plugs, SCT X-Cal 2 from Blue Oval Chips.

Rear end came with 3.27's and an open diff. I swapped them in favor for 3.73's, Trac-Loc, and a T/A Performance brace. I also swapped in a Metal Matrix aluminum driveshaft.

I guess I have the part that says "I" swapped the gears. What I meant was Domination Chassis swapped the gears.

So how does it run? We have four 2006 CVPI's. Three are equipped with 3.27 gears and one has 3.55's. The car with the 3.55's is unmarked and it runs well, for a police car. And it seems to me that from 05 to 06 model year they changed alot of things. For instance the exhaust, the cars are louder than before, the intakes, they make more noise like a CAI would, and they seem to rev higher. That and they added a factory tachometer.

I always wondered what a brand new CVPI with high flow cats, Flowmasters, a CAI, 4.10 gears and a program would run like. I guess I'll never know.

It is the quickest vic I've ever driven or been in. Night and day as compared to a "stock" cruiser or civilian vic. It definitely hauls some serious ass... the proper tune was key

Oh and no need for a brake stand...stomp on it and the tires will go up in smoke with ease!
