    what gears?

    Which gears would be better for a S/C the 3.73s or 4.10s?

    Seems like most go with the 3.73's but you probaly want personal experience which i dont have so i guess my opinion means nothing

    i have 3.73s now, i am not so much looking to go 160 on the highway, but i was thinking with the 4.10s i would get alil more down low and the S/C would make up for it on top end.

    i had 410's in the 96gt and it had all kinds of low end pulling power....ofcourse i had to shift sooner,cause the gears wind out the tranny faster
    ridin fast,hittin da hills,throwin some dirt

    i got 4.10s in my car now and am screaming in 4th going through the traps in the 1/4 mile. im going with 3.73s when the vortech go's on;)

    3.73s in mine. Of course i have an auto but with my stall i have to run a 27 inch tall tire at the track or ill run out of RPMs so 4.10s would be impossible for me.

    would like to keep my 26in tall tire, i usually shift right around 5,600, yes factory rev limiter

    Ditch the limiter! I am keeping my notch NA and it looks like with my current combo 4:30s will be the ticket. The 3:73s are not enough - I still have a ton left at the end of the track...

    I don't know if it would be worth it ( to me anyway LOL) to ditch your 3.73's for 4.10's.

    u left out to many factors to give a good estimate need to know what your goals are. is it more track or street, et and mph goals also what engine set up

    I have the 3:73's in mine. Thinking about ditching them and going with 3:55. 73's run out way too fast. 1st gear is usless, second is borderline usless and third is where the power feels good. Still have to watch the go pedal though. It still wants to break loose.
