    http://www.adrants.com/2008/01/ford-...ts-returns.php

Anyone see this? Tried to verify it, couldn't find anything that said it was bogus.

    sheer idiocy.

this is the kind of move that would make me not want to do a mustang project.

IMO, everyone should plaster photos of their cars everywhere they can.

its almost as retarded as the NFL and its legal posturing with WMGK (radio station in philly) for using the trademarked name "Super Bowl" in contests and promotions.

How in God's name can Ford claim the rights to any photos YOU take of YOUR car that you bought and paid for?!?!?!

So if I post a picture of my Mercury Sable on this websight, Ford can theoretically sue me because the vehicle is a Ford product and thus they own any and all rights to images of their vehicles whether in the possession of FoMoCo or not?

wow Something here isn't jiving...they must have left out alot of info in the article.

actually now that I think about it I think it has to do with the fact that calendars made money.

true....however I used to get calendars from local shops (featuring cars). At times, I don't understand our legal system at all.
