    Engine back in

Put the 347 back in after the rehone and rering. New cam, valve springs, timing chain, bearings, rings, waterpump. I had the tremec 3550 rebuilt by Rob (wick). I found the sn-95 31 spline mosers online. I couldn't pass them up for the price - they are brand new. Now if I can figure out the proper pivot ball height for my SFI Mcleod bellhouse, I will be good to go.

Thanks for the kudos everyone. I went with an AFM B-41 cam after a lot of careful thought and a long conversation with Rick A. He felt that would work best with my 3.73's and my driveability requirements. I found a brand new B41 cam on the corral and got it cheap. Got to love these cars due to high used parts availability. I'll bet you could build an entire 5.0 'stang without ever buying a new part.

Oh yeah, the aftermarket part selection for the 5.0, (new & used) is unbelievable! Sounds like she's gonna be a runner! Cant wait to see you new dyno #'s.

I can't wait for the new numbers either. Is your cobra back from the paint shop yet? Any plans as to when you will install the Xmas parts?

No its still at the paint shop & will be for quite a while. I told him to take his time as I was in no hurry. I should have it back within a month or so.
I'll be installing all of the new parts as soon as I get the car back excpet for the heads. Im saving them for a rainy day!
I'm going to send them to TEA to have either the cnc 185 or cnc205 program done on them.

Im guessing that w/ your new parts your going to be in the 365-375 rwhp range if your tuner is worth his salt. Good luck bud!

Nice work Bob! Your car is gonna RIP!!!!!! I see low 12's and possibly high 11s in your future if you can get some traction and a nice 60 foot time.

My projects are on hold lately - the holidays, work ( year-end is a bee-yotch!! ), and the fact that my girls have been passing around assorted bugs lately have all contributed to not much getting done in the garage.

I think it says, " If you can read this, it means you're not busy installing your tranny!! Get back to work!!!"

It says tighten the crank pulley bolts after distributor installed.
I didn't want to get the engine out of time in case the crank turned over while tightening them without the distributor installed.
