    Issue with 1995 olds Aurora

    This thing somtimes kicks the idle up around 3000 then it drops back down. Any of you GM guys have any idea? It does it in park or any gear. Its almost contant at 3k then drops down regualar now and then..

    I agree. check TPS and wiring to/from it.

    Also, small chance there is a vacum leak somewhere.

    Sounds like a crank or cam position sensor to me.

    There is a solenoid on the throttle body pushing the throttle up. Anyone know what triggers that?
