Well, Sid went down tonight sliding into the boards feet first. didnt look like much, but theyre calling it a high ankle sprain. if thats what it ends up being he'll probably out 3-4 weeks.

the way he was struggling to skate, I wouldn't be suprised if he was out till the playoffs or more.. Damn shame

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby will be sidelined six to eight weeks due to a high ankle sprain.
Crosby was re-evaluated by Pittsburgh Penguins team doctor Chip Burke on Tuesday morning and further testing confirmed his high ankle sprain. Crosby suffered the injury in the first period of the Jan. 18 against Tampa Bay.

high ankle sprains blow. i had a bad one and i tried skating wayyyyy too early. bad idea. it tacked another few weeks onto my recovery
In case anyone didn't see it, he played last night. Looked pretty good to me and had a few scoring chances. Give him another few games to get back into the groove and our O lines should be lighting the lamp quite often, especially on the PP.

yeah crosby did great he had a real nice assist to talbot almost scored a few times as well. glad he is back
