Some Pics from the Detroit Auto show on sunday...

10 of us went up sat night, stayed @ the windsor in Canada, and went to the auto show the next day. I'll leave out the details as to how that night went, insane to say the least. Those who've been to canada for gambeling and such, I'm sure you know ahaha. Didn't take to many pics as I never went to bed that night, but enjoy the few I do have!!!

aha those 2 weren't even the half of it...Girls GALORE @ that place. The Dodge girl was absolutely amazing, but I guess they needed that for there lack of quality vehicles. New RAM looks like complete A$$, as well as the F150 looks terrible too.

Very nice pics. Thanks for posting up...might have to head out there next year. looks to be a good time. The corvette zr wasnt that the style on barret jackson the other day with matching ending serial numbers and auctioned off with an older one for over a million dollars for both cars?

Thats correct. That guy got #1 production car, and its a specail blue color that only he will own, only one will be produced. It went for 900,000 actually but the guy wrote a check for 1 Mill I heard just to even it off. Every penny above $99,999 goes to charity.

I believe that was a black 2008 Z06 and a black 1958 convertable that ended in identical serial numbers.

there were be nothing close to that zr1 when it comes out.

Serial # 001 sold on Barrett-Jackson for $1,000,000. It has yet to be built.

The buyer recieves...
- watching it be built on the Bowling Green Assy Line
- gets to turn the key for the very first time
- Factory delivery (or Jay Leno would let them take delivery on the Tonight Show or at his Big Dag Garage, if requested)
- Bondurant driving school
- Original artwork of the proposed concept
- LeMans Blue Pearl paint (they stated this will be the only ZR1 in this color (@ $61,000 per gallon!!)
- an option list that will not be reproduced on any other ZR1 (they did not prvide the details, but they stated this)
- ZR1 Jackets,shirts, hats, etc
- I believe there was some Nascar race tickets, or a ride in the pace car.

David Ressler was the winning bid. He is a famous Corvette collector that buys several cars each year.

Jay Leno let it slip that the sticker of the 2009 ZR1 will be $99K. Don't know if it was the announcement of the retail price, or he knows something for certain. I don't think GM has made an official statement of the retail price.

I couldnt remember all the details i just know it caught my eye but thanks for the info...i just wanna know if he'll take it to the track a time or 2 or will it sit and collect dust?
